Summary Judgment Awarded In Favor of City

Attorneys Wilton V. Byars, III and Lauren E. Ward obtained summary judgment in city’s favor in a premises liability action after Plaintiff sued city alleging she slipped and fell on tile located on a city sidewalk. After thorough discovery, the Circuit Court of Lafayette County, Mississippi granted summary judgment to the city on all of Plaintiff’s claims and dismissed the case without any award to Plaintiff.
