The Circuit Court of Lamar County granted a directed verdict for defendant in hotel negligence action. Plaintiff was seeking medical damages as a result of allegedly being exposed to bed bugs after staying at defendant’s hotel. Defendant was represented by Attorney Jim Weems.
Attorney Jim Weems represented a local restaurant in a case filed by Plaintiff alleging damages as a result of a foreign object in food. The Circuit Court of Newton County granted Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss.
Jim Weems and Marcia Stokes Johnson obtained summary judgment in a food poisoning case against a national restaurant chain. The United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi found that plaintiff filed his complaint two days after the running of the statute of limitations.
