Overview
Tom is a Shareholder, who practices in our Madison, MS office. He is an effective, strong advocate for his clients at all levels of Mississippi state and federal courts. Tom practices primarily in the area of insurance coverage litigation, which includes litigating complex coverage cases and defending bad faith suits. He also practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense, civil rights and governmental liability, and appellate advocacy. Tom serves as Chair of the firm’s Appellate practice group and Medical Malpractice practice group.
Tom is an active member in the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. He previously served on the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association’s Editorial Board for several years and has authored a number of articles published in The Quarterly. Tom has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® since 2021 in the practice areas of Insurance Law, Insurance Litigation, Mass Tort Litigation / Class Action – Defendants, and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants.
