Overview

Bobby Higginbotham is a Shareholder practicing in our Madison, MS office. Bobby has extensive experience in both state and federal courts throughout Mississippi. A 1989 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, Bobby graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1992 with his Juris Doctorate.  While in Law School, Bobby was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as Research Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal.  He has earned the prestigious AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell™ for his exceptional legal ability and high ethical standards.

Bobby’s legal career has been marked by significant leadership roles within the legal community. He was an active member of the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division, serving on its Board of Directors from 1996-1998, and as Secretary from 1998-1999. In 2002-2003, Bobby was elected President of the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division. His contributions to the Mississippi legal community also include serving as a member of the Mississippi Board of Bar Commissioners, as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division, and as a member of the Mississippi Bar’s Executive Committee.

A graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Bobby has earned recognition as one of the Top Attorneys in the Mid-South and Mississippi. He practices in a wide range of areas including Liability Defense, Insurance Coverage Disputes, Bad-Faith Claims, Premises Liability, Personal Injury/Wrongful Death, Toxic Tort and Environmental Law, Health Care Law, Products Liability, Construction Law, and Commercial Litigation.

In addition to his legal expertise, Bobby is dedicated to community service. He has served as a Deacon at his Church, President of Applause, the Fine Arts Booster Club at Jackson Preparatory School and as a volunteer coach and mentor.
